Event Marketing and Organiser Team Position



Odds are, if you’ve been to a gig or festival in the last 5 years, you’ve been to one of ours! RUFUS DU SOL, Tones & I, Day on the Lawn and the Tasmanian Wine Festival just to name a few. We’re after some good people to come on the journey with us in the events organisation team.

We need quick learners, who thrive under pressure, are accountable and responsible. (Bonus points if you can do it with a sense of humor!) We’re looking for people who see a future in the music and events industry, and a future with us.

What you’ll do:
You’ll see first hand what it takes to organise and execute some of our state’s largest events. Your tasks could include:

- Managing and creating social media content
- Organising event setup and packdown
- Bar management and stock control
- Graphic design & copywriting
- Stakeholder relations
- Event day operations

What you have:
Experience working within the events and hospitality industry, while welcome, is not a necessity. Our desirable experience includes:
- Current driver’s license
- Tasmanian RSA (or ability to obtain one)
- Availability to work on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- A good character and personality
- Eager and willing to learn and try new things This position is located in Hobart, Tasmania.
